What is Palringo? Palringo is a novel Instant Messaging program that runs on a variety of phones and PCs. Palringo allows you to instantly exchange text, photos and vocal IMs with individuals or groups. It supports MSN, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, GoogleTalk, AIM, and GaduGadu (Never heard of that one) There is a mobile version and pc version.

Why is this useful?
If you have friends who use the popular messenger programs you can now carry on a conversation via your phone vs having a PC. Great for people who don’t text message via mobile phone but do via computer. If you mobile phone has wifi you don’t even need a traditional data plan. While I don’t use this program often it does come in handy when trying to have a lengthy text conversation.
