One of our favorite sites for iPad info, PadGadget.com gave a nice quick write on aviation apps for the iPad. If you are a GA pilot ForeFlight is pretty amazing. You can try it for free for 30 days.  So check this link out and we will ad additional ones as we come across them. The iPad is an amazing device for this type of stuff. RAM makes mounts for the cockpit and I can really see this taking off, so to speak.

Just a quick note/review of the iPhone 4. I have had it for a little over a week and can tell you it is a big improvement over the 3G. The phone is 40-50% faster than the 3G and in unscientific testing I would say 25-35% faster than the 3GS based on side by side comparison.
If you use FlightCrew iLog you will enjoy the performance boost. All of the apps run faster and Safari is much faster.
FaceTime – FaceTime is nice but of course requires wifi and the other user …
