At ExpressJet we use Adopt for our monthly line bidding. Lots of people have complained they can’t access it via their iPhone or iPad. Well here comes the Atomic Web Browser to the rescue. It is only $.99 and there is even a lite version you can try. One of the features of Atomic is you can change the type of browser information it sends to the web site you are accessing. So in the case of Adopt (and many other sites) if the site sees you are using Mobile Safari it won’t work. Atomic can allow you to change your setting to FireFox, IE, Desktop Safari, etc.
For our version of Adopt the FireFox 3 setting works. You can now log into the site, see bid packets and do your line bidding.
This might be the best $.99 you have ever spent on an app.

Other Tools I Use For Bidding:
GoodReader – $.99 PDF Viewer
iAnnotate – $9.99 PDF editor which allows you to highlight items, text annotations, and a whole lot more. Useful to read a bid packet and circle which lines I want to bid.
DropBox – Free! basic service and apps. The best way to sync files over multiple devices
