There are many multi-IM (Instant Messenger) applications for the iPhone. Some are free and some are pay applications. Beejive is a pay application and is considered one of the best. If you are looking for a free application I would recommend, Nimbuzz. Nimbuzz is available for both the iPhone and as a Windows desktop application. The interface is clean and fast. In a quest to find more mindless things to do on the iPhone I began to visit the network television web sites to see if they had iPhone or mobile phone compatible sites.

Yes, it is a common fact that when not flying I spend WAY to much time online. Hey good news for you! I do it so you don’t have to! I broke down and bought an iPhone a couple of weeks ago and have spent many hours finding the best sites to ways to hack the iPhone, application reviews, etc, etc. So here goes.

An official application from Skype for the iPhone has been released today. In the past you had to use a 3rd party application like Nimbuzz in order to use Skype. I am a big fan of Numbizz as a multi IM application. It is free and has a clean interface so check that out in the iTunes store.

For those of you who have spent lots of money on mobile applications just to switch to another device I’ve got news for you! StyleTap is coming out with an application that will allow you to run Palm OS applications on the iPhone and Touch! See the StyleTap blog for more details.
